Sure you have travel horror stories, but can you tell them like this?

We've all spent more time waiting for flights than we'd like to remember.  But next time you're stuck, try creating a memorable anti-airline mockumentary like this one.

Delta Flight 6499, Seven Hours on the Tarmac

This is pretty hilarious, but only because I can sooo feel this guys pain.

yeah, I watched this earlier today when I found it on digg. I find it amazing that not one person got mad enough that they would just charge the hatch and leave the plane. I'm fairly sure I would. I cannot begin to imagine the implications and fallout from this video going public. Time will tell.

I'm with you guys...I can't believe no one complained. Everyone just sat there :) I hope this gets some press. Of course, it's not just Delta...the whole industry is broken.

Yes it is, Jeff. My last trip out, I got stuck at LAX for 27 hours. At least I was in the terminal, but still.

I had a 7-hour layover scheduled, and because of delays at IAH, I still missed the Eva flight of the day. Thank God it wasn't Wednesday; they skip that day! :o)

(I did get a free hotel room out of it.)

Jonathan, that's horrible too. I'm glad you got a hotel room out of it at least!

I was on my way home a few days ago from good 'ol Colorado City from taking PILAT at MTI and wouldn't you know it, 60 seconds after closing the hatch to the airplane, the pilot says we're going to be sitting on the tarmac for an hour and a half. So what's the first thing I do? I grab my not-so-handy PD170 out of my camera backpack and start rolling. I was looking forward to posting it, but sure enough we just sat for an hour, waiting for weather to get better at our destination, before taking off. In one week we'll be headed to Sudan, with a 3 hour layover in London, but we have to switch airports. We need prayer!!!! Only one flight a day. We miss it, and we have to wait 24 hours.

Taylor, good luck and God bless on your trip. Sorry you didn't get delayed very long...better luck next time :) If you post up a video PLEASE let me know!

We're busily packing to return to Kosovo for four years, so I feel your pain.
